About our Programs:
Our Animal-Assisted Therapy programs are guided and taught by Lisa L. Lima, Licensed Social Worker and Canine Behavior Expert.

The active involvement of animal(s) in therapy sessions, such as with a Therapy Dog or Horse or the client's own pet, may range from the child playing with the animal, training the animal, observing the animal's boundaries and movements, or simply having the animal by their side as they communicate with their therapist.

Sessions involve hands-on/active learning with differentiated instruction to enable the child to get the most from their session.

The following AA-T programs are best suited for children between 8-16 years old with no allergies or excessive fears of animal(s) used in therapy.
